Click-to-Open Rate (CTOR)

Click-to-open rate is the share of people who opened your email and then clicked a link.

Click-to-open rate counts clicks against opens, not against everyone who got the email. It answers a focused question: once someone opened, was the message good enough to make them click?

It is useful for judging your message and your call to action on their own, separate from how good the subject line was at earning the open.
